The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental education center in the Northwoods of Wisconsin dedicated to naturally enriching and inspiring lives through meaningful connections among nature, people and community.

Your membership:

  • provides nature-based education and programming for children and adults
  • maintains 12 miles of skiing/ hiking/ biking trails
  • manages the Nature Nook for drop-in activities and care of live education animals
  • supports citizen-based research projects
  • provides extensive programming to the local community

All membership levels include discounts on programs, free onsite use of watercraft and snowshoes, newsletter and program guides. Benefits add up at each membership level. For example, the Trekker level and up will cover the family / household.

Voyageur (Annual recognition party each summer, and name is displayed on a plaque on the Lodge wall) $1,000.00
Pathfinder (Gift Certificate for you and 3 guests to enjoy an outing with a naturalist at the Center) $2,500.00
Guide (Customized outing with a naturalist for you and up to 7 guests) $5,000.00
