The North Lakeland Discovery Center is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit environmental education center in the Northwoods of Wisconsin dedicated to naturally enriching and inspiring lives through meaningful connections among nature, people and community.

Your membership:

  • provides nature-based education and programming for children and adults
  • maintains 12 miles of skiing/ hiking/ biking trails
  • manages the Nature Nook for drop-in activities and care of live education animals
  • supports citizen-based research projects
  • provides extensive programming to the local community

All membership levels include discounts on programs, free onsite use of watercraft and snowshoes, and our email newsletter. Members also get program guides mailed to them directly, giving them the first chance to register for programs.

Trekker-level memberships and above include all the members of your household.

The North Lakeland Discovery Center (NLDC) places a high priority on protecting your privacy. This privacy policy was created to demonstrate the NLDC’s strong commitment to the privacy of our member/ donors and website users. This policy is also applicable to offline member/donors.

The NLDC will not share or sell a member/donor’s personal information with any other person or organization, nor send member/donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. It will share or sell personal information only if the member/donor has given the NLDC explicit written permission to do so.
