The Big Event
The Big Event is the Discovery Center's primary fundraising event, raising dollars to support naturalists and their programming, plus operations. Taking place on site, guests enjoy a comprehensive silent auction while reuniting with their summer friends. Appetizers, wine, beer and shopping sets the stage for a fabulous gourmet sit-down dinner under the big tent. Exotic one-of-a-kind experiences are offered for bidding at the live auction that rounds out the evening.
Please remember to bring a fully charged cell phone to the event, or visit a personal shopper during the silent auction. Happy Bidding!
This year’s theme is Discovering New Pathways and the Fund-a-Wish project is Gardens & Grounds. The Discovery Center’s award-winning program staff Licia, Emily, and Annie will fill you in on details Sunday night!
