The Northwoods Birding Festival is an opportunity for bird enthusiasts of all levels to celebrate birds while enjoying the camaraderie of fellow birders in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin. Participate in sunrise warbler walks, enjoy field trips to local birding hotspots, try your hand at bird banding, and learn from experts in the field of ornithology on broad topics ranging from how to improve your garden and wood lot to benefit birds, to the Greater Prairie Chickens of Wisconsin!
Join us for the 2019 Bird Fest with keynote speaker Michael Edmonds, award winning author and historian, who will discuss the topic of his most recent book, Taking Flight, a History of People and Birds in the Heart of America.
