The Big Event

The Big Event is the Discovery Center's primary fundraising event, raising dollars to support naturalists and their programming, plus operations.  Taking place on site, guests enjoy a silent auction while reuniting with their summer friends. Appetizers, wine, beer and shopping sets the stage for a fabulous gourmet sit-down dinner under the big tent.  Exotic one-of-a-kind experiences are offered for bidding at the live auction that rounds out the evening.

At this event we have a silent auction.  If you would like to donate an item for the auction, the item must be new or in like new condition.  All incoming items will be screened by a review committee and if not chosen the items may be used for other fundraiser programs.  Items are due by May 3, 2019.

Please remember to bring a fully charged cell phone to the event, or visit a personal shopper during the silent auction. Happy Bidding!
