Garden Club
The Discovery Center Garden Club is for those who love gardening and want to connect with other gardeners, those who love native plants and botany, and anyone who is interested in learning more. With dedicated volunteers and help from staff, we reestablished our garden club in the summer of 2022!
Our mission is to grow native plants, clean food, and bonny gardens.
Our Goals Are:
- To engage citizens in the importance of native habitats to support pollinators, wildlife, and other native fauna
- To promote growing sustainable, healthy and clean food
- To beautify the Discovery Center by caring for its landscape and gardens
- To support the Discovery Center's mission to enrich lives and inspire an ethic of care for Wisconsin's Northwoods through gardens and botany
Join Us!
The Garden Club will gather regularly to care for and learn more about the gardens at the Discovery Center: the Shoreline Restoration, the Rain Garden, the Discovery Garden, and the newly installed Native Plants and Pollinators Garden.

Native Perennial Plant Sale
Support the North Lakeland Discovery Center while you provide food for monarchs, habitat for birds, and beautify your property. All proceeds from the sale will be used to support the Discovery Gardens and native landscaping on campus.
