Steve earned B.S. and M.S. degrees from UW-La Crossse. The bulk of my his career was spent as a Manufacturing Real Estate appraiser for the Wisconsin Dept. of Revenue. Steve also had a 28 year career in the U.S. Army Reserve.

What inspired me to join the board:
Both growing up on the shores of Lake Michigan and my time as national president of Muskies, Inc. had the dual effect of fueling my interest in quality water. The water program at the Discovery Center is without question a cornerstone of the center’s efforts and one I wanted to be a part of.

How I connect with the natural world:
Attending as many North Lakeland Discovery Center programs as possible. As much time as possible in the boat chasing the elusive muskie. Enjoying my surroundings each and every day in the Wisconsin Northwoods.
