Richard is a retired corporate attorney, Boy Scout leader and strong believer in land and waters conservation.

What inspired me to join the board:
Strong belief in the mission of the Discovery Center. I feel that programming to support the enjoyment and knowledge of our outdoors world will help us better appreciate and protect our woods and waters. Programming for youth is an especially important goal for me.

How I connect with the natural world:
I spend as much time outdoors as possible, enjoying and learning about our woods and waters. My wife and I take an annual Boundary Waters trip.
