Programs for Schools
Environmental Literacy
We believe in the importance of preparing today's youth to face tomorrow's challenges. To help students become well-versed, we have created hands-on programs that stimulate young minds, and assist youth in the development of critical thinking skills and cooperative attitudes.
Field Trips
We welcome regional elementary and middle school students to spend the day with us. Our programs instill an appreciation for the Northwoods' environment, as well as build an understanding of the interdependence between people and the environment.
Naturalist in the Classroom
We can come to you... let us bring our enthusiasm and love of nature to your classroom! Discovery Center Naturalists have a selection of programs, ideally suited for K-8 school children.
For more information on scheduling and availability, program day rates, curriculum specifics or scholarship monies, call us at 715-543-2085 or E-mail us at Licia@discoverycenter.net.
Funding from regional and state-wide businesses may be secured for your school's visit and will assist in covering all or part of your school's program expense.
