Want to catch fish? Todd is your man! Inducted into the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame as a legendary fishing guide in 2011, Todd also serves on the executive board of the Izaak Walton League. When in Illinois, he fishes for big crappies, and in the Northwoods, he especially enjoys fishing for walleyes and smallmouth bass. Off the water, Todd loves flying drones and photography.
At age 16, Todd saved enough money from a summer laborer job to take his family on a vacation to northern Wisconsin, and he has been a yearly summer visitor here since. The mission of the North Lakeland Discovery Center fascinates him and he enrolled in the Master Naturalist Course to better share his love of the outdoors with others. He has previously volunteered as an advisor to the Illinois DNR on improving the quality of fisheries, and has written for a variety of outdoor publications.
