Mary Myers

Residence: Minocqua, WI

Career: Retired from a career as a professor of Landscape  Architecture at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA

Personal: Mary loves plants, ecology and design. She can often be found hiking the shady paths of the north woods or exploring the watery landscape by canoe.  Mary is usually the last in line on an NLDC hike because she always finds a beautiful new plant to identify! As a landscape architect, she believes in applying scientific principles in design. Her studies at the University of Wisconsin, Madison inspired her to develop a graduate program in landscape architecture with a concentration in ecological restoration at Temple University.
