Background and Interests

I’m a farm kid who never lost that sense of wonder, remained connected to the land and environment and never completely grew up!

Reasons for signing up for this program

I was thrilled to find this type of training available locally. It looked intriguing, challenging & fun.

Specific naturalist areas of interest

I have always revered our natural & wild places & work to enhance them. I garden, hunt, fish, travel, ski, snowshoe, train dogs, shoot sporting clays, mentor kids, do lots of volunteer work. I was self -employed in many facets of vocational rehabilitation and simply put, I assisted injured workers in regaining a productive lifestyle.

What has been the highlight of your WIMN training?

The WIMN training in its entirety has been exceptional. The professional presenters are the “best in the business”, knowledgeable, experienced, insightful. The Discovery Center staff is bright, energetic & so good at what they do. Participants have been a lively, engaged and fun group.

My nature slogan that might change the world!

Get Involved! It’s too much fun to just ‘let someone else do it’!
