Personal:. Bill lives in a house on a drumlin formed by the southeastward flowing ice of the Wisconsin Valley Lobe. He has a BS degree in biology and geology from UW Superior. He is a Viet Nam vet, a Master Gardener specializing in trees and shrubs, and a conifer collector with a passion for dwarf conifers. Bill is into historic preservation and wooden bowl turning. In winter you can find him cross-country skiing on his miles of groomed trails.
Why become a Master Naturalist? Bill became a Master Naturalist to do what he can to preserve and protect our environment.
Favorite Books: Anything by Aldo Leopold and Sigurd Olson.
