TOUR SITES NEEDED
We are looking for new homes, remodels, or works in progress with lots of green features to explore. Also for consideration are landscaping projects that similarly have an emphasis on sustainable design (native plants, rain barrels/gardens, wildlife habitat focus, integrated pest management).
Please contact Carrie Stiegler (carrie@discoverycenter.net) or by phone at 715-543-2085, by Wednesday, August 11. This year's Tour is expected to be centered in north-eastern Vilas County, in areas near Boulder Junction, Land O' Lakes, and Sayner. |

Our annual auction and social is another "Big Event" this year! Join us in our newly renovated Lodge to bid on getaways to fabulous spots like Tucson, Bayfield, Florida and Colorado; on original work by area artists; on tickets to the Brewers, Badgers, Packers and the midnight premier of the film "Eclipse"; on fishing gear and guides; on delicious dining in area restaurants or your own home; on furniture and plants for the outdoors and so much more.
Sample new wines from Trig's Cellar 70 and delicious appetizers as you enjoy the company of friends and support the Discovery Center's biggest fund raiser. Then our big event will move outdoors under a big tent for dinner prepared by Skyview Supper Club and a live auction.

We practice Catch and Release; and promote care for our waters. Team Retreat, a local fishing club in Presque Isle, provide all a traditional shore lunch upon return. Thanks to Gary Wallace! |
